Workings a:
Hibiscus has been used traditionally to lower body temperature, treat heart and nerve diseases, increase urine production, constipation, cancer, liver disease, colds, depression, digestion, menstrual pain, for healthy liver and kidneys.
In Caribbean it is traditionally brewed into a tea or juice known as sorrel. Because of the various antioxidants and minerals which together with the vitamin C help to give a powerful boost to the immune system, helping fight infections. Drinking juice or tea of hibiscus its known to lower high blood pressure and to strengthen your heart. Because of the high value of antioxidants it is showed to that hibiscus tea/juice can slow down the growth of pre-cancerous cells that can be present in the body.
How to use:
use a small handful of the herb.
Method 1:
Add the herb in a pot with cold water, heat the herb with the water (do not boil) Take it of oven right before boiling. Let it be for 10 minutes, and drink. This method can be used three times with the same herb. And you will get more out of it.
Method 2:
Boil up water by it self, and then add it to the herb. Let it be for 10-15 minutes, than drink. This method can be used three times with the same herb.
Method 3:
Put a small handful of hibiscus in a jar of water, let it sit over night, blend with other herbs or fruits that you like. And then drink a hibiscus infused water.
